I don’t know what it is, but mandrake still doesn’t cut the mustard for me. I’ve downloaded their latest(9.1) and spent a good portion of the day playing around with it, and have to say, what a disappointment.
It really seemed to run slow, and the install took an hour and a half to complete, but that could be the machine too. I plan to install Redhat 9, when it’s released, on this machine to compare the speeds.
