While I was downtown Chicago today, I noticed an extremely increased presence of police officers. But when I was walking back to the train station, I made sure to walk up Dearborn past the Federal buildings, and holy smokes! One of the corners must of had 100 cops standing there, all in their riot gear. Nothing was going on, but it looks like folks were starting to gather in the plaza. It was just weird walking through the middle of all those members of the CPD. Also the streets were lined with squad cars and sheriff buses.
I was looking for Jason D, since I’ve read in the past that he’s been down there taking pictures of the activities.
