About 55 degrees, sprinkling with a chance of thunderstorms later, and very breezy. It feels and looks a lot like May out there today.
I’m not one who normally follows the weather to closely, but I hope we get back to the cold weather soon.

Is it a bug or something?
I’ve been trying really hard to get Debian installed on one of my servers. I’ve been running Slackware-current for a long time without issue, but I really like Debian(when it works).
Basically I get the base install of woody running fine. I don’t install any X windows stuff, it’s strictly command-line. The problem comes when I install the new kernel. I don’t believe the 3c59x card I have is anything unusual, when I install the new kernel, the system no longer recognizes the nic. Also I see a lot of DMA errors during bootup. Google searches really don’t bring any useful info.

Brandon’s new bedroom is almost complete.
Well the plaster repair is complete, the walls have been primed and painted. Lisa is in the process of sponge painting the walls and they’re really looking good. I’ll post pictures when it’s complete.
I picked up all the new trim from Home Depot tonite and plan to install it all on Saturday and start staining.
The carpeting is scheduled to be install on Wednesday and the furniture is being delivered on that Saturday.
I can’t wait for this project to be done! Ishould have about a month to relax before the twins arrive.

Some sites don’t render well in Mozilla
As you may or may not know I’m a huge Mozilla fan. It’s an exellent browser and combined with Multizilla provides a great browsing experience.
The big problem though is many webmasters design their pages without verifying their operability with other browsers and use many features that only IE supports.
I’m putting together a list of sites that don’t work well with Mozilla. I’m not sure what purpose it could serve, but I’m creating the list non the less. My list has the ability for anyone to add a known link. See the current list here.

That’s a rhetorical question, I know.
We got about 4-5 inches of snow today, it’s our first real snowfall this season. I live on a fairly main and busy road and about the time it became covered with snow I turned on the police scanner to see what kind of action was going on around town. And sure enough, it was one report of an accident after another. I also live right across the street from an entrance to a mall and was amazed by how many people were driving too fast and overshot or slid through the enterance.
Easy way to kill a couple of hours.
Two Guys And A Girl
One of my favorite shows of all time, Two Guys And A Girl, is back on TV albeit in syndication. But I’ll take it anyway I can get it. I don’t know what it was with that show, but it’s level of humor just sites right with me. Now I’m not thrilled about about the channel it’s on, being the manly man that I am, but back to the original point, it’s on somewhere and that’s all that counts. For those interested, it can be seen every weeknight at 5:30PM CST on the WE(Womens Entertainment) Network.
Thank goodness for the worldest greatest invention, Tivo, I don’t have to sit through any commercials of this awful station. And I’ll never miss an eposode.
