PfSense VLANs with Unifi

This page will explain the steps needed to create VLANs with pfSense as your router along with Unifi Switches and Ubiquiti access points.

Hardware used in this guide

• pfSense 2.3.2 - Homebuilt based on Supermicro barebones system
• Switch - Unifi Switch US-24-250W
• Access Point(s) - Ubquiti UAP-AC-PRO
• Software - Unifi Controller 5.2.9 (Hosted on a Digital Ocean droplet based on Debian 8.5 x64)

Procedure

pfSense Setup

• Click on Interfaces > (assign) > VLANs
