Disable the Leave a Message After the Tone announement after custom voicemail greeting

In FreePBX it still plays an announcement with instructions even with a custom voicemail greeting. It feels a bit redundant, so here is how to disable it.

  • Log in to the FreePBX Admin GUI
  • Navigate to Settings > Voicemail Admin
  • Got to the Dialplan Behavior tab (Super obvious, right?)
  • Select 'Yes' for Disable Standard Prompt
  • Submit and Apply the config changes

This is a global setting and will disable for all voicemail boxes
