Getting the MD5 checksum of a file on Windows 10

This may work on other versions of Windows, but I’ve only tested with Windows 10 Professional

  • Open command prompt
  • Navigate to the directory of the file you want to check
  • Command: certutil -hashfile file_name.iso MD5
