I stopped by the ice arena after work tonight to sign up and pay for the learn to play hockey program that starts this Friday. The good news was it was cheaper than expected. In the program book it was listed as $114, but their computer said it was $70. They said the computer was always the price they charged, so I didn’t argue. Now I just have to hope that the program doesn’t get cancelled like it has in the past.
Also while there, I picked up a March open hockey schedule and was delighted to see a lot more options for stick & puck times and a new addition of ‘over 30 pickup’ games on Thursday evenings. It looks like I should be getting a lot of ice time this month!
