Holy smokes, you really have to be dedicated to Linux if you want to use Gentoo. Or just have loads of free time. I could never get my NIC working, and to me that’s just something that should be a non-issue, especially since the Gentoo Live-CD has no problems with it.
Now back to give Debian another shot.
