Ok, so we get this super cool Dell poweredge in for a client, and what needs to be installed on it? Windows NT 4.0, Small Business Server 4.5 to be exact.
It seems such a waste to have a powerhouse machine and run such crap on it. Not to mention that Dell doesn’t make it easy to get NT drivers for their new stuff. I had to call technical support for the RAID card drivers, and then exchanged emails to get others. For the network card he directed me to a link on Intel’s site. I downloaded 4 different driver files, fortunately the last one worked.
All that’s left is drivers for the tape drive, but I hope those will be taken care of when I install Backup Exec.
